I am an attorney by training and have spent the last five years working for state government.
In my position, I worked both with IT professionals and on my own to create solutions for managing data more effectively. My work on these projects prompted an interest in software development, which led me to Nashville Software School.
I am interested in using code to make web applications that can increase the ease and efficiency of completing complex tasks while improving the overall user experience.
Intensive full-time 6-month software development bootcamp focusing on full stack (.NET/C#) development fundamentals and problem solving.
Led the community partnerships division and reported to senior leadership of state agency tasked with investigating allegations of child abuse and neglect. Served as a statewide liaison between DCS and over 50 external partners, including child advocacy centers, law enforcement agencies, juvenile courts, and non-profit organizations.
Designed and implemented a new system for tracking, verifying, and reporting specific subsets of agency data from all 95 counties of Tennessee. Managed public notifications website and published an average of 2000 pages of case files per quarter, with over 70,000 pages reviewed and posted between 2013 and 2019.
Full stack web development bootcamp. Curriculum includes multiple group projects and two capstone projects demonstrating learning from front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end material (.NET/C#) respectively.
